This is on Wedding Rock in Patrick’s Point State Park. A nice couple named Ed & Sue took this picture for me.

This is the Gingerbread Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Ferndale. I take pictures of anything Ginger related.

Since this was a business trip for Nathan, I was basically left to my own devices every day. Each morning I set out early (not difficult since I never adjusted to the time change and was rarin’ to go by 3:30 every morning) and explored as much of the coast as possible. I did a lot of hiking, met a lot of interesting people, and learned a lot of local history.  When it was all said and done I put exactly 701 miles on our rental car! The beauty of the northwest coast left me in awe and I found myself in worship and praise to God during some of those early morning hikes on the rocks above the ocean.

This is wedding rock from my car.  It was quite a hike! It’s hard to imagine a bride hiking up here for her wedding, but apparently it’s quite popular!

The Pink house in Eureka, the town we stayed in. It’s for sale!

The Carson Mansion across from the pink mansion. Built out of Redwood and many rare woods and looks really spooky from the bottom of the hill.

I wanted a picture of myself in the Pacific Ocean, but there was no one around to take it for me. This was the best I could do under the circumstances.

I spent one morning in Victorian Ferndale. This is where I ate homemade Kahlua Fudge ice cream at 9:00 a.m.
